The highlight of our shop at present is a set of 4 prints of railway posters of the Wye Valley. Examples are shown below, and they can be bought individually or as a set from our e-shop.

From the1920s onwards posters became very important as a way of marketing different railway companies and the destinations they went to. Well known artists of the day were commissioned to produce pictures of famous scenes and these were used throughout Britain and abroad to encourage people to explore using the railways.
